Bobbi Brown, 76, of Omak, Wash., passed at her home on Jan. 14, 2014. She was born on Nov. 30, 1937, to Winfield and Mildred Kuhlman in Lincoln, Neb.
Bobbi was raised in Washington, D.C., and attended school there.
She moved to Oklahoma City, Okla., after marrying her first husband. When they divorced many years later, she moved to San Diego, Calif., where she met and married Neil Brown. They moved to Omak around 1980 where Neil was raised. After her husband’s death, Bobbi attended Wenatchee Valley College and became a drug and alcohol counselor, a job she dearly loved. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and also a member of the Carmelite.
She is survived by two sisters, Diane Teixia of Baker, Ore., and Susan Byrnes of Omak; one brother, Preston Kucia of Omak; three children, Robin Mikkelson of Omak, Faith Zeinhelt of South Carolina, and Curtis Welch of Sanfee, Calif.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A memorial service will be held for Bobbi Brown at the Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Okanogan, Wash., on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 at 1 p.m.
