Gertrude “Trudy” Mullins-Headrick
July 13, 1926 - August 22, 2013
Trudy went to be with the Lord Aug. 22, 2013.
Trudy was born in Richmond, Va. to Warren and Fern Lexi Sarver on July 13, 1926, where she lived until she met Lester Mullins and moved to Washington in 1957, residing in Omak until she moved to Pateros in 2007.
Trudy was employed by the Okanogan Valley Golf Club for 14 years until she met and married Jesse Robert ‘Bob’ Headrick.
Trudy had two children, Larry ‘Rusty’ and Debbie; and step-children, Bob and Shirley Mullins of Virginia.
One of Trudy’s fondest memories was going to Dairy Queen for ice cream in her 1967 Chevy Impala with Tanya, Tiffany and Jesse when they were very little listening to them laugh and giggle the entire time.
Preceding her in death are her parents; brother, Doug; sister, Margaret; husband, Lester; and Rusty and Bob.
Trudy is survived by one brother, Wesley Sarver of Missouri; sister, Gerleane Martin of Virginia; daughter, Deb (Mark) Miller of Pateros; three grandchildren, Tanya (Chad) Peterson of Omak, Tiffany (Ryan) Stewart of Issaquah, Wash., Jesse Woodward (Jessica) of Pateros; and seven great-grandchildren, Brandy and Abram Woodward, Corbin, Camden and Claire Peterson and Capri and Nico Stewart. She is also survived by step-grandkids of Pateros, Charmaine, Tyrone and Crystal; and children, Bobbi and Aidan Hall, and Aleeka Smith, and Braylon Minnis, who were also a comfort to her.
A burial service will be held at
1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6 at Omak Memorial Cemetery.
