NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO APPROPRIATE PUBLIC WATERS
That The Highland Partnership with offices in Wenatchee, Washington, on November 14,2013, under Application No. S4-33104 applied to appropriate public waters, subject to existing rights, from the Columbia River at the rate of 6 cubic feet per second for the purposes ofseasonal irrigation, frost protection, crop cooling, crop processing, and crop spraying ofup to 250 acres; and continuous community domestic/municipal use for up to 20 connections. These water uses are proposed to be mitigated by existing rights currently proposed for transfer into the State Trust Water Right Program for instream flow and mitigation ofdownstream uses.
That the source ofthe proposed appropriation is located within the SWY4NWY4 of Section 25, Township 30 N., R. 26E.W.M., Douglas County, Washington.
Protests or objections to approval ofthis application must include a detailed statement ofthe basis for objections. All letters ofprotest will become public record. Cash shall not be accepted. Fees must be paid by check or money order and are nonrefundable. Protests must be accompanied by a $50 recording fee payable to the Department of Ecology, Cashiering Unit, PO Box 47611, Olympia WA 98504-7611, within 30 days from: May 7, 2014.
