NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO APPROPRIATE PUBLIC WATERS
That the Lower Stemilt Irrigation District ofWenatchee, Washington, on
December 18th, 1991, under Application No. S4-31083 applied to appropriate public
waters, subject to existing rights, from the Columbia River in the amount of 4.66 cubic
feet per second for the irrigation and frost protection of 452 acres. The source ofthe proposed appropriation is located within the SW¼SE¼ of Section 19, Township 22 N.,
R. 21 E.W.M. in Chelan County.
That water use under this proposal would be mitigated proportionally by other existing water rights from Okanogan and Chelan Counties that are currently proposed for transfer into the State’s Trust Water Program.
Protests or objections to approval ofthis application must include a detailed statement ofthe basis for objections. All letters ofprotest will become public record. Cash shall not be accepted. Fees must be paid by check or money order and are nonrefundable. Protests must be accompanied by a $50 recording fee payable to the Department of Ecology, Cashiering Unit, PO Box 47611, Olympia WA 98504.7611, within 30 days from:
