REAL ESTATE SALE

The Board of Okanogan County Commissioners finds and determines that the following

described real property is surplus to the operation of Okanogan County:

DATE, TIME and PLACE OF SALE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2013 at 9:00AM in the Okanogan County Commissioners Hearing Room, 123 Fifth Ave N., Okanogan, before the County Tax Foreclosure Auction.

THIS SURPLUS SALE IS BY PUBLIC AUCTION ONLY: All sales will be made by auction to the highest and best bidder for cash. Only Cash or Cashier’s Checks for the full amount of the highest and best bid will be accepted.

BID TERMS: Bids must be made in increments of no less than $100.00 in even amounts. After the close of bidding on the last parcel, the sale will be recessed.

TERMS OF SALE:

  1. The amount at the time of payment must include an additional $83.00 for Affidavit & Deed Recording Fee.

  2. The Successful Bidder will have 90 (ninety minutes) after the end of the County Tax Foreclosure sale, to pay the cashier in room #201 of the County Treasurer’s Office at 149 N. 3rd Ave, for the respective parcel(s) on which they were the high bidder in Cash or Cashier’s Check. Any parcel which is not paid for as specified during this time, the defaulting bidder will be excluded from all bidding and his previous bids will be deemed rejected for the Surplus Sale. A Treasurer’s Deed will be issued within 30 (thirty) days of the sale, recorded with the County Auditor and mailed to the purchaser.
